An on-going project which recognises the huge historical significance of sites in Albert Town district. The original Upper Clutha school was the first site to be recognised and Dean’s Bank and the punt plaques are the next sites to receive recognition.

This is a project in conjunction with Wai Wānaka. Two drains have been installed and funded by ATCA which will allow the storm water to be analysed on a monthly basis to establish just what goes into the water ways around Albert Town.

All native tree plantings and the orchard now have underground drip fed irrigation in place to protect the plantings during the hot, dry summer months.

This is ATCA’s premier event. Lots of family oriented activities including bouncy castle, face painting, Noddy train, running races and Summerdaze fun for all ages, plus food stalls and live music. The highlight is a visit from Santa and a lolly scramble.
